HALF MARATHON
OVERALL
AWARDS
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male, female and non-binary athletes.
There will be an award ceremony on race day.
Run Madtown is the RRCA National Half Marathon Championship event for 2025. These awards will be handed out on race day. Winners of the RRCA awards are also eligible for overall or age group awards.
AGE GROUP
AWARDS
The top 3 in each age male, female and non-binary age group will receive an award.
The age groups are:
19& Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older
These awards will be available for pick up on race day – look for the large AWARDS feather banner.
Please note we do not mail out awards.
WHEEL CHAIR
DIVISION
Awards will be given for 1st overall male, female & non-binary wheelchair athletes.
There will be an award ceremony on race day or awards are available for pick up on race day
5K & 10K
OVERALL AWARDS
Awards will be given for the top 3 overall male, female and non-binary athletes.
There will be an award ceremony on race day or awards are available for pick up on race day.
AGE GROUP AWARDS
The top 3 in each age male, female and non-binary age group will receive an award.
The age groups are:
9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 +.

SCORING
Gun time will be used for the overall prize winners (top overall men and women ), but net time (the time recorded by the timing device) will be used for all age-group and masters scoring.
Age group awards will be available for pick up on race day. No awards will be mailed.
Run Madtown is thrilled to be the RRCA National Half Marathon Championship Event for 2025. In addition to the event awards, Run Madtown and RRCA will be handing out awards for Overall Male, Female and Non-Binary first finisher, Masters awards go to the fastest 40+ finishers and Grand Masters awards go to the fastest finisher 50+. These awards will be handed out on race day.
